I woke up to the fire alarm on a nearby building blaring.
It’s probably a good thing since I meant to get up at 5:30, and it was already 9:30. I do hope that the fire department knew something I didn’t about the seriousness of the alarm because it took them nearly a half hour to get here. The alarm wasn’t like anything at home either; it had a beat. Maybe we can chalk it up to being very tired, but I’d almost be willing to swear that I’ve heard some heavy metal music that sounded remarkably similar.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do today yet, I’m thinking a bus tour so I can try and figure out the lay of the land real quick. I also want to see the British Museum (and not just because it’s close). I’ve already missed breakfast in the dorm so it looks like my nutella and whole wheat bread will make another appearance, this time as breakfast rather than lunch. I hope I can find someone else from the group today, just to compare notes and make sure that I’ve got all the info I may need.
Well- the day isn’t going to start itself here! TTFN!
